Astronaut Victor Glover took time to reflect on his crew’s successful mission around the moon and express his gratitude.

“I want to thank God again because even bigger than my challenge trying to describe what we went through — the gratitude of seeing what we saw, doing what we did and being with who I was with — it’s too big to just be in one body,” Glover said.

Before reflecting on the successfully completed Artemis II mission, astronaut Jeremy Hansen mentioned that “this is the furthest I’ve been from Reid in a long time,” referring to how the four astronauts spent the entire mission close together in the Orion capsule. Astronaut Reid Wiseman stood up and sat next to Hansen in response.

“Thank you, that’s better,” Hansen said.
