DARING ESCAPE: A woman who was allegedly kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend was protected by staff after she ran into a store to escape him.

Police say the woman told officers her ex-boyfriend strangled her and forced her into a U-Haul before she managed to flee into the store.

The suspect was taken into custody and faces multiple charges including kidnapping, aggravated assault and strangulation.
